Can I defer the payment of my occupational pension?

Retirement pension usually starts to be paid to the employee at the age of 65. If you wish to continue working, or for some other reason do not wish to start drawing, you can defer your occupational pension.

Payment of occupational pension usually starts automatically. To postpone the payment, the employee must therefore inform us. This should be communicated directly to the pension company and does not have to be done through the employer. Usually, the pension company wants to receive the information at least 3 months before the planned start of payment.

However, if the payment of occupational pension has already started, there is, in most cases, no possibility to interrupt and postpone it.
